When Your Faith Stretches You

When your faith stretches you, it's much like a blindfold being put over your eyes as you sense moving forward without the feeling of one's hand in your your own. When you've done all you know you can do within your own strength, intelligence often times it's not enough. So the presence of trust shows up at your door with faith standing behind it. Trust knocks at your door with Faith and trust asks you to allow it to  allow Faith to guide you. Faith is humble, Faith never demands, Faith is. Faith has a level of strength still misunderstood by millions, yet it boasts nothing of itself. Faith is constant, Faith waits along with trust who are the best of friends and it gently yet confidently knows avenues and resources that we never even muster a thought about until trust helps us to see Faiths true intent. Faiths intent never leads us into harms way, but it never operates alone, Faith has a greater guide, God.

The humility exemplified by Faith and through Faith carries a confidence that's not self absorbed, not puffed up, proud or arrogant. No, Faith humbly submits to the direction of God with full trust by its side. You will never see Faith operate in of itself because trust always precedes it.  What you may not understand about trust is what most people miss, overlook and take for granted and that is the voice of wisdom. Yes Trust has a voice, wisdom is its name.  Trust never acts on its own without the council of wisdom. This where people take for Trust for granted and they believe that Trusting is the right thing, alone. No, wisdom is a gift of great value and a precious and priceless life commodity. God liberally and freely gives it to anyone that asks for it. Many don't know it's benefits until much, much later in life and are blinded in their youth with the things of their present surroundings, influence from negative and counter productive paths of life.
So each of us face the challenge of being stretched...stretched with life's choices, stretched in our faith, stretched to embrace Faith and learn the value and worth that comes through it.
Yes, such a precious and valuable gift is also a gift given to each of us by God. Wow, how cool is that? The gift of faith which is measured out to men and women without reservation and the gift of wisdom. What an unbeatable combination that accompanies us through life, and as most of us in this life come to the age of accountability it is at some point along our journey that these truths are shared with us.  The benefit is whether or not we believe or forfeit it's rewards to selfishly think there's nothing to Faith or Trust or Wisdom. What a mystery, yet it's crystal clear when you see not through your own eyes but through the eyes of Faith.
