...to wake up and have the strength to say "Good Morning," or "How's Everything," or "What's On Your Mind" isn't it? Just nice to take a breath of air, or to have the ability to put on your clothes or have someone clothe you. It's just nice to be able to think a clear thought for a moment, think of your next task for the day -whether independent or being managed. It's just nice to be able to sit at a computer and tweet at your fellow tweeter, or to read an email from a close friend. It's just nice to know that you have your freedom whether it's a physical reality or just a mental escape, it's just nice to hear the voices of your fellow co-worker express appreciation, concern, excitement, disagreement or disapproval. It's nice to see a beautiful sunset in the evenings after a long day, riding down the freeway hearing some kid blow his ear drums out with some low-frequency non-sense or seeing an elderly couple drive real slow when you're in a big hurry to get nowhere fast.

It's just nice being able to let off a little steam, or hold it all in knowing that it will be over in a matter of hours. It's just nice to be able to anguish over what you'll have for lunch today, or have the freedom to decline a delicious meal that has all of the calories that you don't need but you end up consuming anyway because you just don't care today. It's just nice being able to share a hug, or a smile, or a kiss or shed a tear, have someone wipe a tear, someone hold you. It's just nice knowing that you did all that you could do for a person you cared so much for regardless of whether they realized how kind you were or not, it's just nice knowing that if no one at all praised you for the kind thing or deed you just did recognizes it... you did it because it was in your heart to do anyway. It's just nice to know that in the midst of confusion, multiple choices, decisions, or indecision you made a choice to live. It's just nice to be able to read, or learn to read or encourage someone to read or write or express what you're feeling or educate someone on something that can help to improve their well-being. Isn't it just nice to be nice and dispel hatred? To bar the crippling effects of selfishness, so that the river of giving empties out any resentment, intimidation or thoughts of failure. You know it's just nice. How much more can you think of with the phrase "It's just nice?"
It's nice to read a blog that allows you a little insight into the author... thank you
