Ah, Going Back For Seconds!

M-mmmm!  It's not hard to go back for seconds when "wisdom" is a part of your daily cuisine!  Have you ever been invited to lunch or dinner when wisdom was the main course along with all the daily informational foods that we consume?  You know, you are what you eat, right?  Yeah, it's true -and for most of us, well... we consume, ingest and digest almost anything throughout the course of the day.

We may start out with a really weird breakfast of cell phone conversations that have all the sugary, and unhealthy stuff that we like.  But we think it's not going to hurt anything, and with repetitive consumption of those types of morning foods we slowly develop cavities that erode our ability to chew and breakdown tougher informational foods that really give our mind the nutrition it's needing.  Starting the day out with thanks, optimism, sound thinking and wishing someone a great day always has the influence of wisdom.  You're in a big hurry to get out-of-the-door in the morning, so wisdom sometimes gets left behind here.
Then at lunchtime, it's on to the greasier stuff.  Everybody needs a little grease in their lives now and then, right?  Looks good, it's plated beautifully, smells good, often cheaper during the hours of 11:00am to 1:00pm, and the cheesy-gossipy goodness of  it all has us burping the tearing down of a friend, loved one (so-called) or co-worker until the time it's almost time to go back to work.  Or sneaking off to spend time with an attractive acquaintance who you hope doesn't know your true but seldom mentioned friend named wisdom.   Lunch time usually doesn't have the company of wisdom sitting with you or rolling through the drive-thru...so the gossip continues coating the arteries of your crystal-clear thinking for healthier more uplifting information.  Wisdom would go to lunch with you sometimes, but it doesn't feel like you want the company.

After the load of the day, we all work up an appetite of accrued happenings throughout the day which will more than likely make their way over into dinner time.  It's here that many of us through conscious or unconscious habit make a decision about what we'd like to have for dinner.  So -let me ask you, at this point in the day would you consider asking wisdom out?  And keep in mind, wisdom doesn't always get dressed up or has an expensive taste.  As a matter of fact -wisdom isn't very demanding at all.  Wisdom does love attention, loves to work on your behalf with your best interest at heart.  Wisdom always smells good, dresses for the occasion, always has time for you and loves good company.  Wisdom does have a busy schedule, but is never too busy for you when you call, email or just decide to drop by.  Wisdom is always at the eating table -breakfast, lunch or dinner -even snack time.  So... the next time your go out with wisdom how about seconds?
